US-36 Construction Project
Residents and commuters of US 36 (aka Highway 36) connecting Denver & Boulder may have to deal with significant traffic from time to time in 2014 based on the heavy US-36 construction project under way. The project will affect Louisville and Superior residents beginning in March of 2014 due to the complete rebuild of the US 36 and McCaslin Boulevard interchange.
Single lane restrictions on Northbound and Southbound McCaslin Boulevard are scheduled as follows:
– Daytime Monday-Friday starting Monday, Feb 17: 8:30am – 3:30pm
– Nighttime, Monday-Friday, starting Monday, Feb 24: 9pm -5:30am
From March to August 2014, the following activities are scheduled for McCaslin Boulevard:
– Barrier placement
– Concrete removal
– Roadway removal
– Shifting traffic to the Southbound side of McCaslin
– Temporary sign installations
– Asphalt paving
