Seller Commentary:

We’ve cherished the past four years while living here at 762 Furrow Way in the Anna’s Farm neighborhood.  During our home search years ago, we were immediately drawn to the unique benefits of this home including its open-concept ranch layout, model home-like upgrades, and extremely low outdoor maintenance.  We also love the fact that Anna’s Farm is designed as a pocket neighborhood where small clusters of homes share large front yards and driveways are replaced with wide rear-facing alleys leading to the garages.  Our family has grown during our time here and we’ve come to really value the charm of our little pocket of Anna’s Farm.

We have many fond memories of our living here but our favorite memory has to be that of summer BBQs with neighbors, watching the kids safely transition from balance to pedal bikes during countless laps in the alley, and walking to Waneka Lake during Sunday strolls.  Our home is a special place and we hope that its new owners will enjoy the many elements that we grew to cherish including the climbing wall for kiddos in the basement, a laundry room with a folding station, master bedroom suite, “food-truck in the park night” during the summer, and the ability to walk to restaurants, shops, and trails.

We will miss the small-town feel of Lafayette and its’ eclectic and artsy nature.  The city hosts a steady stream of fun events from the Oatmeal Fest and 5K in January to the amazing Peach Festival in August.  We spent many a Friday night strolling through local shops during the monthly Art Nights and perusing tables laden with fresh, local produce and homemade goods at the weekly Thursday night Farmer’s Market from May-October.  Our gym facility, Bob L. Burger Recreation Center, is great too.

Our favorite eateries include the Super Mini Walnut and their amazing specials for breakfast , the The Post for their great selection of beers, homemade fried chicken, and whoopie pies for lunch, and Community for their “Colorado comfort-food” and awesome drink menu for dinner. It’s a three way tie for our favorite coffee shop between East Simpson Coffee Co., Cannon Mine Coffee, and Proper Coffee + Cocktails

Trips to grocery stores and general shopping are a breeze. Summer and fall meals were always made more delicious with organic produce from Isabelle Farm, the certified organic farm just down the road.   Walmart, Starbucks, Mod Pizza and other great shops are within a five minute walk from the house.  We regularly shop for groceries at King Soopers, Sprouts, and Vitamin Cottage, which are all less than a 10 minute drive. Jax Outdoor is like a local version of REI with an outrageous shoe section and a ton of eclectic goods like cast iron pans and homemade caramels.  Their sister store, Jax Farm & Ranch, sells everything from cowboy boots to baby chicks in the spring.

Our home here on Furrow Way has afforded us the opportunity to live in a truly special place and community.  We look forward to providing you the opportunity to experience the same.
